Young
Jains of America is proud to present the 6th
Biennial YJA Convention. Nearly
1000 young Jains are expected to meet this July
1-4, 2004 in Santa Clara, California.
YJA Conventions have historically served as a forum
for youth to meet and interact. Conventions are memorable
events in which young Jains are given the opportunity
to meet unique people from all over the nation, yet
everyone has something in common. Read

first YJA Convention I went to was in New Jersey in

people around my age, each with individual and ambitions

YJA Convention allows youth to play the role of teacher
and student. It's rare when one gets the opportunity
to not just learn, but also teach and thereby gain a
deeper understanding of religion. However, at conventions,
whether one is attending an ice breaker, hosting a session,
or simply discussing how amazing it is that the Mexican
food for dinner was devoid of onions while shooting
hoops during recreation hour, there's always something
to gain!”
